b) Why is it important and why should we care?
My problem is important because it pertains to everyone on American soil. Many people only associate the law with restrictions, but there is a whole other side to the justice system that is worth knowing. Being aware and understanding the law can help people maintain a clean legal record, understand when their rights are being fringed upon, and allow them to embark/ stay clear of situations that respectively work in their benefit or work against them.
c) How do these goals fit with your career objectives?
These goals fit my career objectives because I would like to become a lawyer.
d) How does your project give back to society?
This project gives back to society by distributing information that can be valuable on many different levels to the people of this society. My project gives a sense of importance and prominence to those that pursue the information that I am delivering.
e) Address the Richland triple bottom line.
The Richland triple bottom line coincides directly with my service learning project. It makes claims for aiming for ecological balance, economic justice, and social equity by incorporating one's service learning with their course plan. My project will do this by taking the knowledge that I acquire from my courses and my intended career plan and weaving them into my project. My project, in particular, will be the ending product that pursues ecological balance, economic justice, and social equity.
